The razor drop tester shall:

1. Maintain Razor Orientation as close to the impact plate as possible
2. Measure impact force, razor velocity and duration of impact
3. Razor in free-free state at time of Impact
4. Automated data collection
5. Capture high speed video
6. Gripper must allow rotational orientation around two axes with the resolution of 1 degree
7. Gripper must not interfere with free-free state of razor before and after release
8. Allow for impact velocity of 17.9 ft/s and 12.69 ft/s
9. The energy of the Dropping device must be isolated for data collection system
10. Initial test set up time must be less then 5 min
11. Allow for 45 tests per hour
12. Minimize operator Involvement
13. Replaceable impact surface
14. Accommodate different Razor Products
15. Not injure operator during operation
16. Maintain object under test with in dropping apparatus
17. Run on 120/240 50/60Hz Power Source
18. Fit through standard doorway
